Reclaimed Wood Beam・Pillar

People used to shave beams and pillars one by one with using Hand ax in old days. This beams/pillars has been taken carefully at the demorish site and delivered to Japan remaining nails of those days. This is a special item that you can feel people’s heavily breathing of that time. All sizes and expression each piece is unique with different size and characteristics. Please enjoy the overwhelming presence of this vintage wood. In addition, SBM-35 and SBMO-25 is smaller rectangular shape without hand hewn marks. The texture is smooth and carefully hand sawn that can be used as pillars.

  • Beam・Soft wood with Hand hewn Marks (BM-68・BM-910)

    Hand hewn marks , mortise and nails of those days have been still remained and it has overwhelming impression.

    Hand hewn marks and mortise of those days have been still remained and it has overwhelming impression. You can use it as beam. This item is a limited items of old lumber oak and you hardly find it on the market.

  • Beam・Coniferous Tree・Saw Mark （SBM-35）

    Unlike hand hewn marks, it has a features of various texture created by hand saw cut. It is suitable for pillars. The size is comparatively small.
    Wood Species: Douglas Fir, White Pine, etc.
    Size: Approximately 3×5 inches (76-127mm)×2.4-3.5m
    Condition: With mortises・nails
    ※Most of the cross section of SBM-35 are 3×5 inches (76mm×127mm) only.

  • Vintage Wood Beam・American Hard Wood Saw Mark （SBMO-25）

    Saw marks gives a smooth texture and appearance. There are dotted nail holes. It is suitable for pillars.
    Wood Species: American hard wood such as Oak, Maple, Beech, Birch, Ash are mixed.
    Size: Cross section 2×5 inches (50×127mm) OR 2.6×6 inches (50×152mm) ×2.4-3.5m
    Condition: Smooth texture by hand saw cutting contains dotted nail holes. It is suitable for pillars.
